49% of Acritas Stars felt their performance had been affected by mental or physical health

From our work with law firms and research into how to build high performing teams, it is clear that both mental health and overall wellbeing are critically important issues for individuals in the legal profession and their firms.

In September Acritas collaborated with Robert Cross, Edward A Madden Professor of Global Leadership at Babson College to carry out a unique and insightful study into the health and overall wellbeing of our Star lawyer community.

As a result, all the Acritas Star lawyers that took part received an executive summary report combined with a summary of their own responses with interpretive commentary on completion of the analysis.

Alternative Legal Brand Index and Market Trends 2019

The ALSP market is evolving fast and how clients rely on these providers is evolving even faster.

The third Acritas Global Alternative Legal Brand Index showed that acquisitions can bring quick returns in building a global legal super brand and impacted which providers were thought of as top of mind, which were most favored and which stood out as the most innovative.

Our new report, based on more than 1,000 interviews with legal decision makers, digs into the trends of legal buyers' changing attitudes towards the use of alternatives in the legal sector.

The Acritas Global Elite Law Firm Brand Index is changing!

This year Acritas will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Global Elite Law Firm Brand Index. Due to the index reaching this milestone Acritas will be releasing the 2019 table in January 2020, with an all new look.

Are You and Your Firm Ready for 2020? Three Long-term Trends Arriving Tomorrow

Our latest research with more than 2,000 buyers of legal services, is showing that new trends are emerging.

Nearly 85% of companies with $1B or more in annual revenue have cross-border international legal needs.

67% of these companies have needs in eight or more different countries.

35% of companies have international legal needs in 25 or more countries.

This is the perfect time of year to set up a meeting with your largest clients to talk about their long-term strategy and their global legal needs. Acritas has created a sample agenda and selection of key questions to ask during these meetings.

Sector effectiveness checklist: are you positioned to succeed?

Jen Dezso, Acritas US Vice President explains in her second blog, how an authentic sector-led strategy delivers tangible results to the bottom line. But it’s one thing to claim a sector focus: The proof is whether clients in that sector experience the firm as more connected with their business.

While many law firms today are changing their messaging to talk about industry sector expertise, few are realizing this level of growth in their client relationships.

Acritas has developed a comprehensive checklist on what drives a successful industry sector program. Read Jens blog to find out more.
