‘Baker & McKenzie, Norton Rose, Dentons among elite global legal brands’

“Three global firms who have made their mark in Canada, Baker & McKenzie, Norton Rose Fulbright, and Dentons, have cracked the ranks of global firms with the highest brand equity.


Baker & McKenzie, which has a longstanding office in Toronto, topped the Sharplegal 2013 Global Elite Brand Index for the fourth year running. with a score of 100. No other firm scored more than sixty-six. Norton Rose, which absorbed Canadian law firms Ogilvy Renault and Macleod Dixon, placed seventh with a rating of 46.1. Dentons, which absorbed Fraser Milner Casgrain, ranked 19th with a score of 18.2.


Acritas, the market research company responsible for the rankings, says they reflect the views of “senior decision-makers in elite global companies i.e. those with revenues exceeding US$1-billion…”
