New appointments strengthen Acritas’ International Expansion

Strategic Research and Advisory Services leader Acritas has strengthened its team with the appointment of three new members to its Strategy, Marketing and Business Development teams.

The three newly appointed members of the team will reinforce Acritas’ expertise in the legal sector. Together they will ensure Acritas is able to provide its law firm clients with detailed, innovative research and advice to successfully develop and deliver strategy to enhance business performance and increase revenue.

Juliana Garcia, based in New York joins the management team as Director of Strategy and Business Development for the Americas. With Juliana based in the US,  Acritas will be able to boost its service offering in the US as well as in Canada and Latin America. Her primary responsibility is that Acritas’ strategies and programmes are in line with the continuously increasing needs of our clients in the Americas. Having worked and lived in US, Europe and Latin America, Juliana has 14 years of experience developing and implementing strategies and programmes aimed at growing clients' revenues and market share domestically and internationally.

She has developed her career working for renowned US and International law firms including global giant Allen & Overy, European law firm NautaDutilh and former Washington DC power house Swidler Berlin Shereff Friedman (merged into Bingham McCutchen).

Sarah Chisman-Duffy, based in the UK, joins as Business Development Manager.  She is responsible for supporting Acritas’ international business development programme as well as liaising with the client services team to ensure seamless delivery of our offerings to new clients.  Sarah brings with her a successful track record of business management from within the financial and legal sectors and is MBA qualified. Her diverse experience will allow her to contribute fresh ideas to our programmes.

Michelle Nesbitt-Burrell joins as Marketing Manager. She is responsible for co-ordinating the firm’s marketing strategy in the legal sector globally. Previously, Michelle spent three years in the marketing department of UK law firm Watson Burton LLP, where she supported the firm in a wide range of responsibilities. Her in-house experience will not only ensure further consolidation of an already client-centric business but will allow Acritas to become even more closely engaged with the legal community.
