Law firms can breathe a sigh of relief in the Middle East. Despite the continued uncertainty within the global economy, law firm clients in most Middle East countries, with the exception of the UAE, have continued to report and forecast significant growth in spend on legal services.

Further good news, a third of internationally active clients outside of the Middle East now have legal requirements  in the region. This article examines the trends in detail and takes views from both sides of the client-law-firm relationship: How should in-house counsel get the most from their law firms and how can law firms benefit from this opportunity?
