Acritas Hosts its Annual Advisory Board Dinner

Leading members of the general counsel community and law firm leaders recently gathered at an exclusive dinner in London to share their views on the future of the legal market.

Acritas’ CEO, Lisa Hart Shepherd, revealed the latest research from Sharplegal* as part of a presentation entitled: ‘Ten Year Trends in The Legal Industry: Implications for GCs and Law Firms’.

Peter Martyr, Group Chief Executive of Norton Rose Group, and Andrew Magowan, General Counsel & Company Secretary at ASOS.com, co-chaired the discussions which followed.

The group debated the ever-increasing challenges of using external counsel – with a particular focus on the international context, especially mature and emerging markets.  The implications of the research trends for future strategy development within law firms and law departments concluded the evening’s conversation.
