How the Index is compiled

- Most consider for top level M&A.
In addition, general counsel based outside the US with legal needs in the US, are asked which US-based firms they most use.
The results are an extract from Acritas’ Sharplegal 2011 research. The data is compiled from the views of 667 general counsel based in the US in organizations with revenues >$50m and 235 general counsel based outside of the US in multinationals with revenues >$1bn and have legal needs in the US.
