ONLY 16% OF LAW FIRM CLIENTS ARE ASKED FOR FEEDBACK

Recent research from Acritas revealed that despite three quarters of law firms now managing formal client feedback programs, only 16% of clients are being approached to participate.

Acritas surveyed large law firms to learn more about how the industry is gathered using client feedback in today's increasingly competitive market. Survey findings, along with key steps for building best practice client listening programs are shared in our latest report.

BUILDING BRAND TO CREATE COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE

In the latest issue of Harvard Law School’s publication, The Practice, Acritas’ CEO Lisa Hart Shepherd  explains why brand is often a law firm's most underutilized asset, the qualities of a leading brand and the science behind success in brand building

73% OF CLIENTS DO NOT FOLLOW A LATERAL

Acritas data finds that an average lateral hire will bring just 27% of their book of business. The right lateral hires, however can transform a practice. Over 4,000 lawyers have been identified by our global GC panel which we are now sharing in our stars database.

We share insights to help you maximize the chances of success in lateral hiring and introduce our new stars database in the Laterals report.

OPPORTUNITIES IN AFRICA

What is driving multinational demand into Africa?
Sharplegal 2016 has revealed a number of key changes to the Africa market since 2013. Demand is increasing yet spend is decreasing as buyers make greater use of local firms. Our analysts are committed to evaluating law firm brand health and the drivers of success in a scientific way.

1. Legal spend in the Asia Pacific region is forecast to grow twice as fast as the global average
2. Success in building a strong brand in the region is built on deep local practice
3. China and South Korea continue to gain importance in the world economy
