Acritas UK Law Firm Brand Index reveals the UK’s strongest legal brands                                         

Eversheds tops the Brand Index, with female buyers particularly drawn to the firm. DLA Piper is this year’s rising star, increasing four places into second place. Pinsent Masons take third place.

The Sharplegal survey, conducted annually amongst 2,300 senior buyers of legal services from across the globe, tracks how legal buyers select law firms and highlights those law firms winning, and losing, brand equity.

The Acritas UK Law Firm Brand Index tracks six measures – top of mind awareness, favorability, consideration for top-level litigation, consideration for top-level M&A, most used for high value work by UK buyers, and most used for high value UK work by overseas buyers. Firms are awarded between one and five points for each respondent mention on each measure depending on whether the firm is mentioned first, second, third etc. The total score is the combination of the points from all mentions on all measures. The highest ranked firm sets the Index at 100 points and all other firms are measured against that benchmark.
