Over the past 2 years, Acritas has engaged firm’s clients, partners and management to explore what makes for a “Star”. It may be a surprise to hear that firms differ from their clients in their views of who their stars are. Of course, the key finding is that it’s the client-rated stars who drive the profit performance of the firm – and who make a massive difference to the number of advocates the firm has, as measured through the net promoter score.
Acritas have also been exploring what it is about firms’ management and the motivational environment they create that means they have been able to develop, attract and retain stars. Is it all about remuneration – or the peer group these partners work with?
In this Knowledge Café we will be sharing our experiences of running firms that are a magnet for stars – how’s it done? What levers can management pull? And Acritas will share some of these fascinating findings to get our creative minds whirring.
If you haven’t been to one of our Knowledge Cafés before, or the format is new, please give it a go. We have tables to discuss a variety of topics relating to developing Stars. During the evening you will get a chance to move around tables and discuss with your peers what works and what doesn’t. At the end of the session we’ll pull it all together and keep the conversation going over drinks and nibbles.
The Acritas team will include our CEO – Lisa Hart Shepherd, who regularly advises leadership on the best way to develop their employer brand. We will also welcome Steve Blundell, as Head of Acritas Advisors, whose recent addition to the Acritas team brings experience of advising a wide range of professional services firms.
